I set my camera on a tripod and left it in the same position for a whole day whilst taking photographs at regular intervals. I deliberately left the camera settings the same and didn't use exposure compensation or alter the white balance setting to demonstrate the effect natural light had on the space. These photos were takes from sunrise to sunset and they show how the colour and direction of light can have an effect on the mood of a space. Artificial light was added in the last two shots but the remaining outside light can still be seen.
These next four images show how the dynamics of a space can be changed by altering the viewpoint slightly. Using the shadows and the highlights to direct the viewers gaze.
